Airbus’ objective is to promote and maintain a high level of health and safety control at work for its employees but also for the employees of the sub-contracting companies, and for all stakeholders involved in the work environment sphere.
This high level of control is achievable notably through the prevention plan wich manages the risks related to the interference of Extended Enterprise and Airbus activities.
The present application provides a quick and easy access to the documentation needed to complete your work on our Airbus sites.
The prevention plan
It consists in:- Presenting the general Airbus safety rules to the external company,
- Making a preliminary visit of the work area,
- Performing an analysis of the risks related to the work and to the interaction between the various activities,
- Defining the resulting prevention measures.
It is validated by the Principal, the external company representative and, if applicable, by the person in charge of the work area. The Safety department provides technical support, in particular with regard to risk analysis and definition of the prevention measures.
It must be reviewed on a yearly basis, or every time there is a significant change in the activity or in the place where the activity is carried out.
